DONATIONS
We seek donations from individuals, church assemblies, organisations and companies in the form of provisions for children for their general upkeep, maintenance and development.
Basic foodstuffs
Provision of basic food stuffs is the most needy area as we have to make sure that at least each meal time they have something of nutritional value to take so that we avoid health complications that come with
malnutrition.
Repairs and renovations of thatched huts
Most of our thatched houses are no longer habitable, one entire village was razed down by a veld fire in 2000. The other ones have their plumbing and roofing in various dilapidating states. We seek donors in plumbing materials, skill and thatching grass which is scarce in this region.
Bedding and clothing
Clothing and bedding are also major issues given that we are located in the higher regions where we experience low temperatures the rest of the year , therefore there is need for warmth covering from basics like clothes and
blankets.
School uniforms and stationery
There is a need for donations in terms of
accessories towards the children's education especially uniforms, stationery and books.
Farm Equipment
The farm is another area which requires donations, items like farm inputs and implements are in urgent need so that we move
towards self sustenance by utilizing the land we have profitably.
Besides the pastor, his family and care givers the farm does not have farm labourers. So we invite volunteers who can serve as farming skills providers. We also seek security services as our area is prone to robbery. December 2008, thieves decented on the farm and steal transformer oil, we have no electricity for almost two months.
Building materials
Given the thrust we have taken to move the village to a new location with mordern buildings, we are in need of building partners as we need to construct ten house to accomodate the children. So far one is complete and two are on roof level. The first one was built by an individual, a succesfull gospel singer and his family. The other two are being sponsored by two Harare AFM assemblies and a local succesful company also based in Harare.
